Day 2: Sofia, Rila Monastery

Morning .- Tour around Sofia, political and administrative capital of Bulgaria. Visit and learn about the most important places of its wide historical and cultural richness.
Afternoon .- Departure to the Rila Monastery, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit to the biggest and most outstanding Bulgarian monastery, with architecture from the 10th century, precious natural environment and enormous cultural and artistic richness expressed through the frescos, carvings in wood, iconostases, liturgical objects, silver work, weapons, relics which played a role through the centuries for the preservation of the national culture and spirit.
Night .- Overnight in Sofia
